Workshops
SongShine
Mondays from 1:00-2:30 p.m., April 1 through May 20
American Legion Hall, St. Helena
This singing class for voices affected by aging and/or neurological issues will not only bring back your confidence in your voice, but will also give you a community of singers of which to be a part! The SongShine method is based on the cutting-edge science of neuroplasticity--the human brain's lifelong ability to reorganize itself and change by creating new or alternative neural pathways. And it's FUN!!! This eight-week workshop is led by Eve-Anne Wilkes, PCA vocal instructor and certified SongShine instructor, and Ellen Patterson, long-time area music therapist. It is provided free of charge through Rianda House in St. Helena. Open to adults of all ages.
